My problem........

@bhaiyas', i am extrememly sorry to tell this thing ... but i was quite shocked wen he told this today ...
and he even said dat he doesnt know a single student who loves the teaching at iit,kgp..
i was still more shocked ...
no grievances abt the facilities and opportunities ,,,, but teaching [2]

Can anyone tell me if there is scope of doing MSc from an IIT after completing BSc from some other reputed institution.

hey buddy, i would suggest u not to compromise with a low rank (in d range of 7000-8000), 'coz ur words show d desire of being an IITian.! i would suggest u to drop (drop completely, n not by joining some institute and preparing for jee partially) as u have one more chance to try. i'm sure with this level of confidence and with some more strong conceptual grip, u'll definitely get an awesome rank next year. if by chance ur luck sucks even next year, then it'll not be much difference from the situation that u r facing now. 'coz even then u'll be able to get a gud rank in aieee.!! the only loss would be of an year, which i guess is not a big thing when compared wid ur aims and ur entire journey of life.

I'm a dropper. even my result was bad last year, got a rank which was of no use except saying that even i qualified jee.!!! then i asked my father about taking a drop. first he hesitated, later upon countless explanations and requests, he agreed. he said me frankly that he'll not be caring me much during this one year as he used to care me during my 11th n 12th. he also said that he agreed for a drop juzz for d reason of not being blamed by me in future.!!! and he stood on his words; he didn't care me much (atleast not as much as he used to care me till 12th!!) during this one year. but still, it was my battle and i fought it alone. to my surprise, i got very much close to my father's ideas during this one year as i slowly realised how a father feels when his child turns out to be worthless.!!!

but finally, i proved myself and also my decision of taking a drop.! and even my father is pretty satisfied wid my performance.

the reason for saying this boring story is that............

Never compromise with ur dreams.... and u must be d last one to give up on urselves.

@ tapan......I was so confident about my succes in JEE that I didn't fell BITS form...
It was just on 10th when I fell ill and illness grew and became max. yesterday...

hey ,can we do like this????I get a good rank in AIEEE...not selected in IIT.....I join a good college like NIT..and side by side prepare for JEE 2010...and give it...
is this possible??
I know it would require money......but again thought of IIT can't get out from my mind.....

I think this way it would be a safe game.........but will i get enough time to conc. on JEE once I am in NIT?
