even the new iits are better than the nits,if u get the course u want but in a 'new' IIT ,just go for it.
Even i was expecting 300 but then i just can't believe how many silly mistakes i have made ,these kind of things happen ,dude,whats the guarantee that they won't happen when you write the exam next yr?

My experience
was not able to deliver fully in first paper due to tense mood . Secon paper went okay
Made certain silly mistakes but dint make any calculation mistakes .
Its a feeling of most students that theyve made silly mistakes ( even mine costed 35 marks ) and cud have done better .
But remember that it applies to everyone and wont change ur rank as such . ull surely get wat u deserve .
9jee che expects a lot of preparation i think to cross 130 its very easy to cross 50 in it however unlike jee maths in which u conquer or perish .
My serious advice to all targetiitians is give time to che and conquer it . this year a whole paragraph was based on practical inorganic analysis . I gave less attention to carbohydrates, practical che and jee this time asked a lot on these unlike last year where organic ruled .
Maths toughies but solvable ( req extra time)
Phy felt mechanics come down . 2 paragraph questions were based on modern phy.
the bottom line is jee wants the coaching institutes preparation wrt pattern to go waste.
GOOD things about this jee
assertion resioning removed ( this was the most ambiguous section with a tussle btw option A and B)
subjective q were introduced and they were quite easy and solvable with school preparation itself except maths which as usual tough

Che : is very much manageable if u try to like it and devote time to it.....
I had a very very poor CHEM year i 11th ad flunked in almost all exams in school, it was always a prime requirement for JEE as everythin is equally imp. ther........
I improved my chem, n am expecting 122 in CHEM (as per fiitjee soltns)
Bottom Line : Chem cud be the detrimental factor for many of u. for wat i hav known many of u 11thies / 12thies now Jus ROCK in ur PHY n MAth..... Ur score in Che cud change ur Rank by leaps and bounds!!!

the top marks of maths is highest (though the toughest can be easily cracked by certain geniouses) phy is med (as more scope for silly mistakes) and least for chem ( as something unknown is always asked )

Chemistry requires a lot of patience . I dint understand something at first and left it there. Revision is also very important in chemistry.
Overall chemistry is the deciding factor([17]) as said by celestine and tapanmast above
