The problem is about the derivation of the kinetic gas equation pv=1/3 mnu2 .In the initial lines,in calculating momentum transferred by a molecule to the wall of the container.He is taking the component of the velocity constant but reversed for only x- direction.But it has been reversed for y-direction also.Isn't it true?
