direction through an angle 15Âº. Then the equation of the straight line in the new position is

Find the new slope....

tan(30 - 15) = tan15Â°.

The point is given. As the line is rotated about the point, the point does not change.

So use the one point form.

Err manmay...the line is rotated about (2,0)...iska matlab (2,0) has not moved, only the line has....

Imagine it like this. The line passes through (2,0) and you tilt it to the right by 15 degrees. It is still passing through (2,0) nevertheless.
