Q 1. A function f : R->R , find the interval for alpha...such that f is onto........

f(x)=(αx2+6x-8)/(α+6x-8x2)

Q 2. If f(x) + f(y) + f(xy) = 2 + f(x)f(y).......for all real x & y.......... f(x) is a polynomial.......f(4) = 17.....find f(5).....

yes i also posted a long post where i tried to prove that the odd terms are zero...

This is from A Dasgupta which has also given a very stupid justification for the proof.!

Engl:there are many assumptions and so called mistakes here but answer is right :p
