6x+5y=7x+3y+1=2(x+6y-1)

AND

x+y-82=x+2y-143=3x+y-1211

I used this though i am not able to get the correct value of x and y that satisfies it..

look at this...

first eqn. can be written as

6x + 5y2 = 7x + 3y + 12 = x + 6y - 1

Now, we know that
if a/b = c/d then a/b = c/d = (a - c)/(b - d) right..

so

5x - y + 1 = 7x + 3y + 12

=> 3x - 5y = -1 (1)

Next,

Applying the same in the second one...

(2x - 4)/9 = (x+2y-14)/3

=> 2x - 4 = 3x + 6y - 42

=> x + 6y = 38

=> 3x + 18y = 114 (3)

performing (3) - (1) gives,
23y = 115
=> y = 5 and thus x = 8
