Area under the curve

Find the area bounded by the curves √5≤|z|≤2√3 and z2+z2-2zz+8z+8z>0

I have solved it up to tracing the graph,After that,I don't know how to proceed,Please solve that part alone!!!!

R=2√3
r=√5

so area= 1/2 (Î R2 - Î r2)

the second curve is a parabola.. there is a small issue in it! :)

A1 = area between big circle and parabola
A2= area btween small ciecle and parabola.

reqd. area = A1- A2

i tihnk, taking a horizontal dy strip will be more helpful than dx..
