BUT I DONT THINK THE ANWER IS CORECT BCOZ U TAKE ANY POINT IN [1,2] THE POINT WILL SATISFY THE GIVEN FUNCTION FOR EXAMPLE I TOOK 1.5,1.6,1.00009,ETC..

1.5 -1 / 1.5 = 1/3

2{1.5} = 1

1/3 -1 < 0 so not in domain

ur question is (x-1x-2{x} )1/2 or (x-1x-2{x} )1/2

Write it as \sqrt{\frac{x-1}{[x]-\{x\}}}

So either x≥1 and [x]>{x} or x<1 and [x]<{x}

x≥1 and [x]>{x} is true for [1,∞)

If 0≤x<1, then [x] = {x} and is not admissible

If x<0, then we do have x<1 and [x]<{x}. So, [-∞,0) is also a subset of the domain.

Hence the domain is just [-∞,0) U [1,∞)

Another way to express it is as \mathbb{R} - [0,1)
