Answer is (a2/3+b2/3)3/2

well this problem can be easily solved by coordinate ..

just that let the angle be θ to horizontal

then length of hypotenuse
=
a/cosθ + b/sinθ

just differentiate it and apply maxima miinima

you will get the answer
