Let the side of square be a which is also the diameter of the circle.
The length of the two chords will be a-12 and a-24.
Join the other ends of the chords(It will be diameter of the circle Why?)
so applying pythagoras
(a-12)2+(a-24)2=a2
solve for a and get a/2
