Sayantan Sir, please respond.

If x=2+2^2/3+2^1/3,show that x^3-6x^2+6x-2=0.
I cannot match the answer. My answer = 6. Is there anything wrong with the Q or have I done something wrong in doing the sum?

Try to simplify the sum
x - 2 = 22/3 + 21/3

Now, cube both sides, then you will get the required proof

I have done this method, but it is not matching. I am getting (+12) as the answer. x^3 and -6x^2 are matching. But the other two are not matching.
