heheeeee...........no more speculations :)

here's solution:::::::::

s=ut+1/2 at2

substitute and we get a=9.83 m/s2[value at poles]

so most likely expected colour of bear=white

and hence the answer ;)

n moreover coming even to JEE point of view for SUBHOMOY:::the point it brings to test is just that if one knows that g is maximum at poles as compared to usual 9.8m/s2[1][1]...........i don care if it was a good one or not i just felt like posting so posted........

neways thnx for tht compliment of good question[1][1]

bhaiya it seems things are slowing down here this year??[2]

arey bhaiya [3][3]........kahe ke liye respect jaise bhari words use kar dalle ..........i know n see i sent it for IX-X not jee neways for guys to argue bout its validity in JEE isn't it???????

lol.. anand, without any disrespect to what you are trying to say, this is IIT JEE and they will not expect you to learn g at equator and poles, in fact they give the value of g in the paper itself :P

But not trying to take away the fact that this was a good question :)

dude.....thts no joke n u don need to remember at all places honey!!!!!!

u cn see it is more than 9.8 n what examiners cn expect at most is that u know tht it is more at poles than at equator........

n there is no need to make speculation for problems posted...hope u know wat i mean to say!!!!!!!!

one doubt...

how is the examinee supposed to remember the value of g at various places on earth ??

imagine this question....

a man fell from a height of 19.66 m from top of a building in 2 s and hence died. The case was thought to be a murder case and so a case was filed and people were arrested in the process. The arrested people had good sources and so they pulled the case to the supreme court of the place. Where is the Supreme Court located? GIVEN: Supreme Courts are located in the CAPITAL CITIES of all countries.

well u don have to make mere guesses u have to solve this one n show ur working [6][6][6]

now do the sum...[3][3][3]
