Random question(but still URGENT!)

Guys,I need some help regarding a question.

Two ice cubes get stuck to each other when pressed together. Why?

Can anyone answer this question for me? It's a bit urgent as my exam is on Tuesday.

At high pressure the melting point of ice decreases. Therefore at the junction of the two ice cubes, the solid melts into water.
Then when the pressure is released, the water re-solidifies and then the two ice cubes get stuck to one another.
