the electrstatic field is a conservative field
so

(W_PQ+W_QR+W_RS)+W_SP=0

or W_PS+W_SP=0

work done =qE .SP

W_SP=qE i.(r_p-r_s)

=qE i (ai +bj)

=qEa

W_PS=-W_SP=-qEA

See force by Electric field is in the positive x-axis direction. Therefore it will affect only x component. Find the displacement of particle of its x component
