calculate final charge

1..two capacitors A AND B 3μF and 2μF respectively are charged to p.d of 100V and 180V . the plates of capacitors are connected with one wire from each with free ..the upper plate of A is +ve ,bB is -ve . an ..an uncharged capacitor 2μF capacitor ,with lead wires falls on the free ends to complete the circuit ,then calcuate final charge q present finally...

The diagram u have given is incorrect. B will be in place of C and c in place of B.

Having done that, assume that charges q1,q2, and q3 appear on A,B,C.

Conserving charge gives q1+q2+q3=660 (initial charge).

Loop rule gives u another eqn.

Finally total charge present on upper plate of A+upper plate of C initially =charge initially on upper plate of A=total charge present on thsese plates finally. That gives the 3rd eqn, solve them and u are home.
