metal plates form a paralel plate capacitor maintained @ certain pd.
when 3 mm thick slab is introduced bw plates inorder 2 maintain sm pd
, distance bw plates is increasedd by 2.4 mm.

62hey this is not very tough...
try one thing...
what is the capacitance of the capacitor which is fully filled with a medium..
then try another part..
what is the capacitance of the capacitor when it is filled with a dielectric of thickness t and there is anotehr additional space for air d
Once u do these 2 parts.. it should be easy :)
