For an ammeter we have, I_gI=ss+g, where 's' is the resistance which we connect in parallel and 'g' is the resistance of the ammeter and ' i_g; is its range.
So, nI_gI=S^'S^'+g. On solving we get, s^'=GnI_gI-nI_g
