A solid sphere of radius R is charged uniformly.At what distance from its surface is the electrostatic potential half of the potential at the centre?

Potential at the center is KQ/r

Also the potential at a distance x is Kq/x

so kq/x=kq/r * 1/2

so 1/x=1/(2r)

so x= 2r
