71When the charge is left, the particle being in unstable equilibrium leaves and say approaches infinity. There is some decrease in the Potential energy of the system of charges (earlier there were 8, now only 7). This decrease goes into Kinetic Energy of the charge. It is simply Energy Conservation problem.
