try to see if it is a wheatstones network whenver four or more resistances are used in the circuit

@mani... if G is connected in b/w other 2 points, i.e., in horizantal position, then i think ur condition is rite...!!!

is it d same for dis circuit too...??? [7]

@asish... this is what confusing me... if d battery is directly connected to d ends of galvanometer... even then, its a wheatstone bridge kyaa...!!???

arey why confuse urself about whether it is a wheatstone bridge or not.. just regard it as a normal circuit problem aur MAK can u post the question .. obviously if this "bridge" is ever balanced then current in the circuit will be ZERO .. because the end terminals will have no PD and hence no current flow

see, since d battery has some emf, then obviously d ends to which it is connected have p.d. and therefore some non-zero current will b passing through galvanometer... then how come it is a wheatstone bridge...???

actually there's no question regarding this, this is from theory... i read it long backkk and opened it again today... i guess i didn't clarify this doubt then, isliye ab pooch raha hu... so dun mind guysss... plzzz... [2]

arey bhai wheatstone bridge : has no official definition its major use is as a device to find the unknown resistance.. so dont get confused about this term..

a wheatstone bridge need not necessarily be balanced.. in an unbalanced wheatstone bridge, current flows through the galvanometer... and in THIS question specifically... current will DEFINITELY flow through the galvanometer... there is no question of this bridge ever getting balanced the reason ive explained above

sorry for wasting ur tym... couldn't resist asking such silly doubt...!!!

thanq... [1]
