well i had some doubts..........
the first one isn't really a study doubt....its a general query that came to my mind while reading abt the earth's magnetism..
as we know that the earth reverses both the magnitude as well as the direction of its magnetic field after some span , what potential effects can this have on thel ife on earth??

i wanna ask that do we hav to the topic PERMANENT MAGNETS in detail??
like abt magnetometers?
coz in AIEEE syllabus this topic has been given(perm magnets)
and in HCV this is a whole new chapter.........and in that there is a lot of detail abt the various instruments used to measure earth's magnetism!!
