A non conducting rod of length l and charge q is rotated along an axis passing through the center of mass with ang velocity Ï‰,What is the mag moment of the rod? (Ans:qÏ‰l²/24)

can anyone post the solution,i'm not getting the answer

well this is simple vivek i think you must have done some silly mistake
try it again if you dont get it i'll post the soln..

but you should try again

first calculate the Î¼ of an element and then integrate take care that you don't integrate the current and then multiply by Ï€R²

hmmm,i did that only but i was getting 6 instead of 24
