the plates of a parallel plate capacitor are charged upto 100 v .a 2mm thick insulator sheet is inserted btn plates . to maintain same potential diff .the distance btn plates is in creased by 1.6mm. the dielectric constant of insulator is...!???

Take the electric field and use the work done in taking a unit charge from one surface to another.
See there is a charge Q on both the faces
there is a dielectric which has some induced charge on it
Now, find the work done in moving a charge from one face of the capacitor to the other.
