unknown conductor or inductor ?

·

See ... the voltage across resistor is = I*R = 11*20 = 220 V

Also net voltage = { VR2+(VL2-VC2) }1/2

and net voltage is given 220 volts

=> 2202 = VR2+(VL2-VC2) = 2202 + (VL2-2202)

=> VL=220 Volts

How come the answer is 200V !!!

I also calculated it ... I mean one can say even without pen/paper that the Voltage across the inductor will be 220V coz voltage across capacitor is 220V (they both have to cancell each other)
