Calculate the molar chloride concentration in a solution prepared by dissolving 1.12 L of hydrogen chloride in 2.5L of water at 298 k. Solute exist as a strong electrolyte & dissociates completely into ions.

22.4L = 1 mole
1.12L = 0.05 mol of hydrogen chloride gas

formed - 0.05 0.05

moles of Cl- = 0.05 per liter
[cl-]=0.05/2.5
=o.02 molar

so you cant say
22.4 L is one mole
