An NCC is going at a uniform speed of 6 Km/hr through a place under a berry tree on which a bird is sitting at height of 12.1m. At a particular instant the bird drop a berry . Which cadet (give the distance from the tree at the instant )will receive berry on his uniform.

The time taken by a berry to fall through the height will be calculated by h= (1/2) g t^2

In this time the soldier will travel a dist= v x t ( as calculated). Convert v into m/s before using in the eq

yes he will receive it on the uniform

then find distance which comes out to be 2.6m..
