Help me with this question please?

A particle is thrown horizontally with relative velocity of 10m/s from an inclined plane which is also moving with an accelation of 10m/s2 vertically upwards. Find the time after which it lands on the plane. (angle of inclination of plane = 30°)

1. option c is right.
let the moment of inertia of the rod about a point at a distance 'x' from the center be I
hence I=Ml2/12 +Mx2

now T = 2pi √Imgd

where d is the distance of the point of suspension from the center of the rod (=x)

let I/mgd= k(constant ) (since T is constant)
hence l2+12x212gx=k

l2+12x2 -(12gk)x=0

hence we can have a max. of 2 values of x for which this is true.
but by symmetry, for any point on one side of the center, we will get another point at the same distance on the other side. hence a max. of 4 positions are possible where time period is same.

Just find the currents in the branches marked (in red) using KCL/KVL. Start at the ones near the center.

Finally use KCL at A to get the value of the current. It is easy, give it a try. also use symmetry to get the currents in the branches in the left half (if you wish)

the current in A-B should come out to be 29 A.
