SIMPLE HARMONIC MOTION.........not that simple

How can we superimpose two or more SHM"s? Explain with the help of a diagram?

this is the superimposition of 2 shms with amplitudes A1 and A2 and the second one leading the first one by an angle φ(phase difference). this is the phasor method for superimposition of 2 shms. the resultant amplitude is obtained vectorially from the diagram !

Deobtosh, fine with that but can represent it on the circle and show what will be the amplitude graphically
