Hydrolysis of 1 mole of peroxodisulfuric acid gives ??
ans given is **2 moles of peroxomonosulfuric acid**
but shouldnt it be 2 moles sulfuric acid ????

peroxydisulphuric acid : H2S2O8..
Adding one water molecule to it we will get 1 mole sulfuric acid H2SO4 and 1 mole peroxomonosulfuric acid H2SO5..this can be checked by writing the equation of the procees happening..

H2S2O8 + H2O → H2SO4 + H2SO5 ...

@Tushar ..where it's written 2 moles of caro's acid...it's just wriiten that it can produce caro's acid...and see the digram given on that page below this line..there is one mole of sulfuric acid and one mole of caro's acid...
