Li having the higest hydration energy becomes the most reactive....read it from JD LEE

Li being very small in size has almost two layers of hydration hence havin very high hydration energy....n so the high ionisation energy is overcome by the amount of energy released wen it is hydrated////

rohit, what if we consider a gasous Li + ion ? now, enthalpy of hydration comes into count ?
