since H₂O is weak field ligand, pairing of electron won't occur, and hence paramagnetic nature and trnasition of electrons can take place.............that's what i thgt.....
I don't thnk my explanation is correct though[7][7]

d.Al has no d electrns, so d-d tranisition not possible.......while its possible for other complexes..........
