Constraint relations

can pl smeone tell me a gud way to find consraint relations cz in mst prblms i can figure it out by common sense but there must be a proper "theoretical" way

Use segment method.

no the segment method is okay for easy problems but in problems where the string has an angle its becoming difficult

like in this prob wat shud be the cnstrnt relation b according to segment method

When the string makes an angle then take the component of acceleration or velocity along the string.
