The tension T is T=\dfrac{m}{2\pi r}v^2

i considered element and wrote tension on it..........is my approach rite?????

similar to derivation of wave speed on circular wire.....

2T(dθ/2)=dmv2/R

integrating both sides

2Î T=mv2/R

T=mv2/2Î R

yes.. that approach will work..
the inwards (towards the center) force will be T\delta \theta (where \delta \theta is the angle subtended by the elementary mass). This will provide the necessary centripetal acceleration:
T\delta \theta = \dfrac{m}{2\pi}\delta \theta \dfrac{v^2}{r}
giving us the desired result.
