isn't friction coeffivient of the wall required as when there will be a collision there would be a rotational impulse of μwall J (J being the linear impulse)!!!!

No it is not required.. It can be solve using conservation of angular momentum...

@grandmaster: it is given the wall is smooth, so it wont give any frictional impulse.

Because of friction i don t think ang momentum will be applicable
