rotational mechanics

The 2.7 kg cylinder B and 1.8 kg wedge A are released from a bigger triangular wedge C wich is fixed. the angle of inclination of C is 30 degrees frm the horizontal.Assuming that cylinder rolls without sliding on the wedge A and neglecting the friction between A and C determine (a) the acceleration of wedge (b) the angular acceleration of cylinder (g=10m/s^2)..

can u provide a diagram for this?? i cannot visualize the question!![2][2]

the first observation i make....the sphere will fall in a vertical direction due to absence of any horizontal force except friction...the friction involved will give it a torque for rotation..

second if a is the horizontal acceleration of the wedge then α = aR

and wedge's ayax=tan(30°)
thus, ay=a3

f.R=I.α
or, f.R=I.aR
or, a=f.R2I

so the objective is just to find f

oh yea forgot to mention f=friction!!:D
