yep Y will reach first .......................... u guys ar rite ............................................

cuz if u notice gcos@ is removed by the plane so the primary accn. is mg sin @ ....... so the

vertical component is gsin@cos@ ad opposed to g for Y .....................

sorry ppl for postin such a stupid question[if and only if it wasted ur time [3]]..............

where @ is angle of the incline

Y will reach first

for Y time is √2h/g

for X time is 1/sin@(√2h/g)

hmmm... :)

Abhishek Priyam ·

no...

theres a component of normal reaction on block in upward direction also..

so g-N's component/m is vertical acceleration..

hmm....if no friction, wont they reach together ??

y are u asking this ??????????????

ohh yess....why i asked that stupid question...............

Straight line is shortest distance in 2 dimension so.......Y will reach first....

even if wedge is moving...then also X traces some curve which wont be straight line........
