a square loop PQRS of side 'L' is placed near an infinite current( i ) carrying wire in the same plane at a distance 'L'. now the loop is rotated about side PS by 90° . find the charge which passes through any point of the loop during rotation.

Since ,we are neglecting the Inductance of the loop, the charge flown through the loop will be given by q = ∫ io dt

Now, q = ∫ io dt = 1R ∫ dφ = Δφ/R

So you need to calculate the change in flux Which is trivial task.

i did the same thing.however my ans isnt matching

can v do it by alt current way

i= io(sin ωt)

which is equivalent to i calculated by vivek = -(dφ/dt)/R

and then equate and integrate maybe??....is it possible??
