@priyam.... it can be of course.......but there may be slight variation in wavelenth.........(negligible)

Aragorn we cant make a sodium vapor lamp contain sodium to emit all the frequencies of light.

Hatke hi soch rahe hai ...

think of economic crisis so why waste money on two sources...

relate this question to economic crisis thats called think hatke ...
(so i should think hatke widout virgin mobile :P)

@priyam..mom knos everythin...............he he he.....;-)

it is a probability that an atom can absorb energy and then the electrons excite to get the light energy

they will be slight (many ) differences at molecular level in the twins too... how do their mother recognise them.... mamta differenciates naa so there must be some difference:P

always think hatke...........;-)
be an iitian,,,,,

If U can do it by same source in many ways why waste money on two sources :P

Arey, yaar. I'm asking when you can manipulate almost everything in the world, why not manipulate this?

1
sparkle2009 ·

exactly..tats wat i was asking.

msp ·

two sources cant be made coherent because the emission of lightby the atos of one source is independent of the other.

Can two twins be 100% identical?

1
Pavithra Ramamoorthy ·

u can make it only thro interference.........

11
Anirudh Narayanan ·

Can't we make them do that?

3
msp ·

by identical it means that the sources produces same intensity of light

11
Anirudh Narayanan ·

Anyway, we can make the phase diff bet the two light waves to be a constant, right?

1
Pavithra Ramamoorthy ·

it depends also on wavelen of d sources u take... they shld be of same range...so accordingly decide.........

11
Anirudh Narayanan ·

Can't we modify the sources so that the phase difference is constant?

1
Pavithra Ramamoorthy ·

sky is rit....
@ sparkle...(fr last post) by two sources identical wat do u mean??

1
sparkle2009 ·

It means it is not a necessity right? what if i use identical but independent sources?

3
msp ·

yes Sky is absolutely rite
