as it should retrace its path, first and 3rd reflection should take place at same position. i.e where it was initially incident. So, u just have to decide the posn where the 2nd reflection will take place such that it retraces its path.

Clearly it will retrace its path if it falls normally on the 2nd mirror. Now use simple geometry to get the answer as 45°
