HOW WATER IS MORE ACIDIC THAN ALCOHOL?XPLAIN ME THIS IN DETAIL

Alcohols are given by R-OH

except for special cases where the lone pair of oxygen gets delocalised like in Phenol,

R will have a +I effect.

For being acidic, it will have to have a "vulnerable" electron center.. or it should be able to donate a H+

here RO- will have to be stable.

but the +I effect of R will make it less stable compared to HO- of water.

So water is more acidic than Alcohol.
