2. 3-hydroxy-cyclohexylcarboxylic acid. Sodium borohydride does not affect carboxylic acid and ester groups. It does not affect double/triple bond but there is an exceptional case, where cyclohex-2-ene-1-one is reduced to cyclohexanol.
