yup got it... probably resonance is the reason.. i was not able to look at it.. lol ... so fool of me...

  • Anurag Ghosh Cant we say dat dehydration of 2nd one is leading to benzene(which is a very stable product and so it has more priority to form),then the first one and then at last d 3rd one??????????
  • rahul "leading to benzene???" simply "resonance in 2nd is more" than that in "first" finally "thee is no resonance in 3rd".. Since order of dehydration depends on the stability of carbocation formed. Thus, 2>1>3 if there was no resonance then one could see "hyper conjugation (no of alpha hydrogens)".. that's it (probably) !!
