Cockroach and H2SO4

why can a cockroach swim inside conc. sulphuric acid but humans cant evn put a fingure into it???

cockroaches are covered with a chitinous exoskeleton...

humans are covered by epithelial cells which have an outer covering of 2 layers of lipid and proteins...

might be it is this chitin which protects cockroaches bt the lipid and protein system gets disrupted in the dehydrating+oxidising + acidic conc.H2SO4

btw isn't this a biology question more than a chemistry one??
