but asish heat is not mentioned so how elimination se double bond ayega.
2) i thnk two six membered rings will be in the product
carbocation formed with elimination of H2O so double bond attacks + charge developed and another six memberd ring is formed....?????? that's wat i thnk ...not sure???

Q1. Kinetic product matlab no rearrangements, seedhi baat no bakwaas. Proton is given to OH and it leaves. I fail to see the conjugation here. Oxygen's lone pair is beta to the carbocation. If there are hydride shifts it won't count as a kinetic product.
The water molecule that leaves abstracts a proton from a neighbouring carbon and regenerates hydronium ion forming double bond.
