if there's a group which is sensitive to HCl, we will use Wolf kishner.

like if the reacting compound has -OH in it, we will use wolf-kishner.

but if there's a group which is affected by -OH (like -Cl) , we use clemmenson ..

in the present compound , there's a Cl unit in it,
if we use wolf-kishner, the -OH will replace Cl in the product.

so we use only clemmenson.
