Disiamylborane is an organoborane used in organic synthesis. It is used to add water to a terminal alkyne, forming an aldehyde via anti-Markovnikov addition. Disiamylborane is relatively selective for terminal alkynes. dont no bout DBN

I think DBN is diazabicyclo(4,3,0)non-5-ene. . It is an amidine base used in organic synthesis.
