hey even i havbeen trying to find an answr to this 1 since long time...
for eg, why is C-D bong stronger than C-H bond etc...
ne idea buddy ??

may be energy required to break C-D bond is greater than that of C-H bond due to greater mass of D

got it..........The heavy isotope forms a lower energy bond; it does not vibrate as violently. Therefore, it forms a stronger bond in the compound.
