71Hmm. Yes rest are okay. I too had a problem there at C to D.
The boy then said that he did a 1,4 addition of H2 to the alkene formed. But After the addition of the grignard reagent, we'll have to eliminate the two -OH groups for that. May be he missed that step or it is too trivial to mention.
