Silver mirror test.....(common name:Tollen Test)
silver mirror formed on ineer side of test tube on addition of ammonical silver nitrate.......
it is given by aldehydes,terminal alkyne and formic acid.

iodoform test..
yellow ppt of idoform formed when iodine (or any halogen if haloform reaction) in presence of conc. soln of strong base(any)......
it is given by methyl ketones, secondary alcohols

Imp: though haloform reaction can be done with any halogen theoritically but it is not possible to test with Cl and Br practically becoz CHCl3 and CHBr3 are soluble in water
