What is the difference between Protic and Aprotic ??

Protic: Polar and contain hydrogen with partial positive charge. e.g. water, alcohol

Aprtic: Polar and does not contain hydrogen with partial positive charge. e.g. acetone

See,this theory is having limitations.It is based on Bronsted-Lowry concept.
